# The SpaceForms MCP server for surveys and forms

SpaceForms runs a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Add it to your AI assistant once and it can build surveys, publish them and summarise the answers — without you opening a builder.

## Available tools

- list_forms — list every form on the account
- get_form — read one form including its questions
- create_form — create a form from a title and questions
- update_form — change title, questions or published state
- publish_form — make a form public and return its link
- delete_form — move a form to trash (restorable for 30 days)
- list_responses — read the answers to a form
- form_stats — response count and time of last response
- get_account — plan and limits

## What it looks like

You: "Make a 5-question feedback survey for yesterday's webinar and give me the link."

Assistant: calls create_form with published: true and returns the public link.

A week later — You: "Summarise the answers." Assistant: calls list_responses and writes the summary.

Which clients work?

Any client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP, including Claude, ChatGPT developer mode and Cursor.

How do I get an API key?

Sign in, open Settings → API keys (spaceforms.io/settings/api-keys), name the key and press Create. The key starts with sf_live_ and is shown once. You can revoke it at any time.

What does it cost?

API access is included on every account, including free. Free accounts can create unlimited forms and collect unlimited responses, and see the 10 most recent answers per form. Pro (from $14/month) shows every answer on every form.
